Usually most forms of cancer do not specifically have any symptoms. But some types of cancer such as breast cancer can be detected early. Lumps or tumors in the breast might become visible at any early stage and this is the earliest sign of cancer. Pain and irritation around the affected area is also another symptom and a series of tests will reveal whether you have cancer or not. Coughing blood or persistent cough might be a sign of lung cancer. If your mucus is mixed with blood for over a month then you need to get it checked out.
