    Hi Jason,
Proper breathing is extremely important while running. The correct breathing technique for running is cadence breathing. Breathing through nose wont provide enough oxygen so its better to breathe through mouth while running so as to breathe in more air. Cadence breathing is like breathe in and run 3 steps and then breathe out, take 3 steps and then breath in again and repeat the same cycle. This type of breathing pattern will help to reduce your effort for breathing. Also look into your posture while running so as to improve the efficiency. Keep your shoulders relaxed and a bit retracted. Don shrug your shoulders. Keep your elbows bent so as to keep forearm at your waist level. Keep your back and neck straight so as to avoid any strain coming on your back. look forward.
This type of breathing pattern will help you to breathe efficiently while running so as to improve your performance.
