I am doing weight loss and experiencing trouble falling asleep from the last 1 week. I goto sleep at around 11 pm but wake up every hour or so, never really feeling rested.
Maybe it's just stress but I don't feel stressed. Anyone else experiencing this?
What time of day are you exercising? If you exercise in the morning, it's likely not the problem. Exercising in the late afternoon/early evening might make getting to sleep at night more difficult because your heart rate will still be elevated from your workout when you go to bed.
Harsh is right. Exercising might not be your cause for feeling exhausted during day time. It might be sleep apnea. many People can't sleep well at night due to frequent waking up. They may not remember the waking episodes but this disturbs their sleep which is the reason for daytime exhaustion. Here you seem to remember your waking up in the night. Do you snore a lot? Ask someone in family to observe your sleeping pattern for a couple of days and see f you are snoring. You must know about sleep apnea if you can't sleep at night. Read it here http://bit.ly/9pLjyx
I agree with the above discussion. Diet also plays a very important role for ensuring good sleep. Many of us while on weight loss process, we tend to eat very less. As result, your normal functioning of the body will be hampered. so, try to consult with dietitian to plan the diet for you considering all the above mentioned points.
