Pineapple and blood clots

Do pineapple and blood clots have any connection ?

    Somewhat yes, there is a connection between blood clots and pineapple. Pineapple is a rich source of vitamin C and also that it is a common antioxidant. Vitamin C helps fight the bacteria and other small time diseases. Blood clots happen when at one part of your body blood gets accumulated and that happens because of lack of circulation or you can also term it as a wound (internal). But pineapple has the antioxidants to fight against the wounds and also to cure it. So I believe pineapple do help when in times of blood clots. But you should also consult your doctor for the same.

    Pineapples can help reduce the risk of blood clot formation due to the bromelain present in the fruit. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme, which helps in the digestion of protein.
