The ajwain leaf is a plant that is particularly found in the Near East side of India. This plant produces seeds that are most popularly used as a spice. These seeds can be recognised as they are greyish in colour with stripes on them and are shaped like eggs. The similarities of the plant are like that of parsley. It is known to have a lot of medicinal benefits one of which is it helps the digestive system. It provides a relief to the abdominal area and is also an antiseptic. In many places in the south people give ajwain seeds to baby's by soaking it in milk. '
