What is the maltodextrin glycemic index ?

    That sounds really complicated! Why do you want to know that anyway? Maltodextrin is a form of carbohydrate or at least that is what I understand. I just googled it and it says that it is a carb that helps with diabetes. It helps to control, and keep diabetes at bay. I don't know how it does it or why the glycemix index is important. It can be obtained from starch, corn and rice. Most of the artificial sweeteners that are available today use this as the base. I suppose the glycemix index is a way of measuring the level of carbs.
