Apparently low glycemic desserts are the best way to live healthily! Oh really? When I was growing my parents used to treat my brother and I to ice cream once in two weeks and there was none of this glycemic nonsense then. We are both fine and live healthy and proper lives. Of course our life style choices play an important role but none of this has anything to do with the desserts we ate or still eat. Ever heard of almond butter Mediterranean yoghurt? I haven't either, it's a part of the low gycemic diet. Why somebody would want to eat that I never know.
