    Yes, we have all heard about the great lotus flower and all its benefits. But frankly is it worth all the hype? I don't know, I guess you have to use it to find out. Apparently lotus flower is one of the top ten herbs in the world when it comes to skin care. Did you know that? I certainly did not and it seems a little preposterous to me. It also helps with the kidney, heart and spleen. The seeds of the flower can be used to restore the function of the sex organs as well, or so they say.

    The lotus plant is known to provide various medicinal and health benefits. Most parts of the lotus plant are edible. some of the benefits derieved from lotus flower are:
    *It has cooling, soothing and calming properties. It is often used for relieving stress and relaxation.
    *Fresh tea made from the lotus flower is also beneficial for soothing hyperacidity, acid reflux and burning sensations in the stomach.
    *It can also help in the treatment of gastric ulcers.
    *Drinking lotus tea can also help in treating premature ejaculation. *It is also believed to be helpful in curing syphilis.
