Many soups are also low in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol.Soups are good for helping you lose weight as well as combating obesity. You can prevent many diseases like heart disease, cancer or stroke by eating one bowl of soup a day. Low salt soups can flush your body of excess waste.soup can build your immune system by adding many vegetables in that & including more spices .

    very true, more nutrient are available in home cooked soup. few benefits are:
    They are very healthy as they are low in sodium, low fat, there is no excessive fat and are good for weight loss. You have the advantage of controlling the ingredients and eliminate the unnecessary chemicals and excessive salt.

Boiling foods over low heat and for a longer period of time like we do when cooking soup helps many foods contain plenty of their nutritional value.
