Who gave you this concept of negative calories? Do you actually believe that any food can have negative calories? You must understand that are all types of food no matter what it is has some amount of calories. Negative calories are a misconception that is used to mislead people. But, celeries are difficult to chew and digest and this makes them burn more calories than they contain. They are a good tool that will aid you in losing weight. But, I cant imagine that they would taste all that great. They are definitely good for health and worth eating. Cheers

100 gm of raw celery contains 16 calories. 100gm of cooked celery contains 18 calories . Celery does not have negative calories , the amount of efforts required to chew celery consumes more calories then the number of calories in celery.
