Been fighting lately? : treating a town muscle is simple. REST. That’s all you need. Muscles repair themselves and you need to give it time. It depends on your body and it may require up to a few weeks. But if you exert the muscle even more then you will end up making the situation worse. Consult a physiotherapist and get is checked. They might ask you to engage in some exercises that will help. Ice the muscle regularly and make sure that it is iced for 15 minutes at a time. This should aid in recovery. Hope it helps.

Firstly you can apply ice immediately after injury which helps to decrease pain and bleeding and also reduces the swelling. You can continue the application on ice for 10-15 minutes again and again but not more than it.
    * You can also do light stretching after muscle injury in supervision of trainer will help.
    * Taking proper rest will help fast in the recovery process.
    * Eat a healthy diet rich in protein will help in the recovery of the damaged muscles.
    * Apply clove oil on the injury will help to recovery also clove oil has anti inflammatory properties.
    * If the injury is very serious then visit a Doctor or a physiotherapist will help.
    * For preventing from muscles injury it is very necessary to do worm up exercises before starting a workout
