What is a runners knee? doesn’t make any sense! Are you having knee problems? I’m assuming that’s the problem. If your knees are swollen or aching then you can use ice to relieve the pain. If you have just finished a long run and your knees are aching, then immediately apply some ice. Keep this for around 15 minutes and this should be able to relive the pain. Bruising and swellings can also be treated using ice and this is the cheapest form of treatment as well. But, the best thing to do is to give your knees rest and ice it every half an hour or so.

    Hey Deeksha,
Yeah, ice would be helpful . If you are affected by runners knee then better you go for PRICE protocol and use footwear with good arch support and cushioning for faster healing and preventing future knee problems. If the pain doesn't go away or keeps recurring see your doctor.
