Easier said than done. You cannot prevent yourself from growing old and wrinkles are a good sign that age is catching up with you. Some people tend to age more gracefully than others. There are a few things that you can do to protect your skin from early ageing. Protecting yourself from the harmful rays of the sun is advisable. Use sunscreens, whenever you venture out in the sun. You can also get yourself a stylish large hat and look good, while at the same time keeping the sun at bay. Other than that, there is not much you can do and you might as well accept the fact that time is catching up with you.

    1. Protect your skin from sun. As you get older, the genes that control inflammation, the production and strength of collagen, and your skin's ability to retain water begin to behave in a way that encourages the formation of wrinkles. Combat wrinkles by eating foods and drinking beverages that contain antioxidants like pomegranates.
    2. Wear sunglasses regularly.
    3. Stop smoking immediately. Heavy smokers are almost 5 times more likely to show excessive wrinkling than nonsmokers.
    4. Lat but not the least, stay happy and ever smiling.
