Making a healthy soup is easy and you can make it taste great by adding a few ingredients. Chicken soups are a common thing and they are supposed to have medicinal properties as well. Firstly, prepare the stock using either vegetables or chicken. Chicken stalks are supposed to taste better. Stir fry small onions in a pan for a while and then add diced vegetables into it. You can use carrots, beetroots and cabbages. Once these are cooked add sliced chicken pieces into the pan. Add the stock to the pan let it a boil for a while. You can the required amount of salt and pepper for taste.

In order to make a soup more healthy,avoid adding corn flour or starch for thickening purpose. Also avoid adding cream,butter,cheese, and bread crumbs just before serving. As these will add on to the calories.
