To maintain weight during fasting you should take lots of fresh fruits and fresh fruit juice within 2 hrs as it helps to keep up the metabolism also you can take butter milk,lime water etc.Just keep in mind do not starve for long time as it will slow down your metabolis

I agree with you Priya..fasting without having anything reduces the metabolic rate of the body. So its always advisable to have fruits,juices etc in a gap of 2-3 hours while you are on fast.
