Why would you want to do that? Lose the hips? Ha ha, wouldn’t you look weird without hips? Did you mean lose weigh in the hips? If so then there are a few exercises that you can opt for, which will help in losing weight in that region. Have you tries hula hooping? If you haven’t, then you should. Its fun and you get plenty of exercise with it. You can even ask your friends to join along. Cycling helps burn fat and this is a good exercise. Cycle for 1 hour everyday and you will have good results soon.

To lose fat from hips Diet and exercise both plays an important role. Walking or Jogging is the best way to reduce hips and your overall body fat an especially lower body fat which includes hips, waist and the butt. You can also do cycling. cycling is one of the best and the exercise to reduce hips. Squats can also help. And also your diet plays an important role.Your diet should contain fruits, vegetables, meat/fish/poultry, dairy, bread/rice/pasta, and fats. Those are the basic food groups, and you need to make sure that you have each of these food groups in your diet. To lose fat, you should have an equal amount of lean proteins and complex carbohydrates (whole grains). Make sure that you eat fruits and vegetables on a daily basis. These are high in fiber and will aid your fat loss.

    Hi Deepti,
I will suggest you to go for aerobic exercises like cycling, walking, jogging, running, stair climbing, swimming etc. and consume low caloric diet as suggested by Priyanka. Along with this add some toning exercises to your workout regime like squats, lunges etc. You can also go for some recreational activities like dancing, kick boxing etc. Be regular with your exercises for better result.

Hi Deepti..... Is hips your only concern area? If yes then you need to work for weight training and aerobic exercises in equal proportion and if your overall body needs to be reduced then its better that you do more of of aerobic exercises .Aerobic exercises would help you to reduce your body fat percentage wile weight training exercises would help you to tone your hip muscles. So customize your exercises plan according to your body composition.
    BEST OF LUCK !!

Hey Sujeetha..... Skippping is surely a nice way to loose weight. Ans of course it would help you to loose weight but just specific from hip is not possible. It is a cardio activity which would burn just calories and not only concern area. As i said earlier you have to some weight training exercises for hips to tone it up and get a firm look.
