    one should aim at losing only around 500 gm to a kg of weight loss in a weeks time , and not more than that , as it would only be water weight , and hence a temporary weight loss. also if you go ion a very crash diet or excessive workout to achieve these goals , it might negatively affect your health. and lead to sever malnutrition.

    You should aim to lose 1/2-1 kg in a week by having proper diet and exercise is a safe weight loss and you will be able to maintain it easily as well.
