How to keep the muscles in your face toned?

    Loose facial muscles are one of the signs of aging and concern for everyone. But few minutes of daily facial exercises can keep your facial muscles toned and can ultimately delay the signs of aging. Some of the facial toning exercises are:
    • Place two fingers above the eyebrows and pull it down. Now raise the eyebrows while pressing down with the fingers, opposing to the movement. Repeat it for10-15 times.
    • Close your eyes tightly, hold for a count of 10 and then relax. Repeat 10 times.
    • Purse your lips tightly and try to fill air within your mouth, hold for 10 seconds and slowly blow out. You can also try this with water.
    • Blowing balloons, candles, etc. can be a good facial workout.
    • Chewing gums can be a good exercises for the muscles of mastication.
    • Widely open your mouth forming “o”, maintain this position and try to smile with the corners of the mouth moving towards cheeks.
    • Stand in front of mirror and make faces with different expressions.
    • Massage gently with your finger tips in circular pattern from inwards to outwards direction. This will improve blood circulation and tone your facial muscles.
    Antioxidants rich healthy diet with plenty of water and few minutes of regular facial exercises can give you toned facial muscle and skin.
