One of the most enjoyable weight training exercises is the bench press. Working on it provides your chest with a great pumped up feeling. If you want to increase weight on the bench press you need learn how to set your body right on the bench. Avoid raising your hips too high while bench pressing. Keep your lower back arched so it will cut down on the distance you need to carry the weights and provide you with better workouts with more weights. Learn to train with high intensity to increase your strength on the bench press. Regular changes in your bench press routine also help. Keep switching the number of reps of every set for maximum results. Use these techniques like forced reps, negative reps and partial reps to increase weight on bench press. You can lift more weight when you make the weakest point on the bench press stronger.
