Have you ever wondered why you experience painful stomach cramps every time you have dessert like an ice cream or any milk based products? Most likely you are lactose intolerant. You should also check if you experience any of the other symptoms linked to lactose intolerance like diarrhea, bloating, nausea and flatulence. Every time you consume a milk based product and experience any one of these symptoms then you can be sure you are lactose intolerant. The problem arises because your small intestine is just producing enough lactase to digest the lactose that’s normally found in milk products. To determine lactose intolerance, conduct tests on yourself by watching reactions in your body every time you drink milk or eat an ice cream. Watch how your body reacts when you don’t eat these foods. This will help you determine lactose intolerance.

I agree with you Sara..stomach cramps, diarrhea, dysentary, immediately after having dairy products is a sign of lactose intolerance. Get further tests done for proper diagnosis.
