First of all, Try to recognize the symtoms of stress. Look at your lifestyle ans see what needs to be changed for ex: your work schedule, personal matters, sleeping habits, time management, etc. Use relaxation technices like deep breathing, yoga, meditation whch help in relxing the mind. Exercise - Physical activity is one of the most effective stress remedies around. Watch your diet - Alcohol, caffeine, sugar, fats and tobacco all put a strain on your body's ability to cope with stress. A diet with a balance of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and foods high in protein but low in fat will help create optimum health. Get enough of sleep and rest. Do something that you like for ex: play a guitar, sing, dance, play any sports etc. Talk to others about how you want to deal with the stress, may be your friends, relatives, counselors etc and get help from them. Volunteer in various NGO's and other organizations who need help. Doing social work will lead to self-satisfaction of helping others and needy ones. B looking at others who are in more stress or help than yourself can also be of big help of feeling positive. take a break from the busy schedule and read a book, watch cartoon, watch a movie, go for a weekend outing, do something that would refresh you.Time management is an important factor. Prioritize your work and deal accordingly with each task one by one. Avoid multi- tasking, that might lead to quality loss. Avoid quarrels and don't try to be perfect all the time. Let a few things go that trouble you and learn the act of forgiveness.And last but not the least.. don't forget to have fun in life.. Always wear a smile!!
