Did you know your baby’s teeth need to be cleaned even before they make their first appearance? A simple effective way is using a damp washcloth and gently rubbing the gums in a circular motion. You can do this after every feed so no milk stains remain on the gums. It helps strengthens the gums and paves way for healthy teeth. Once the teeth have appeared, use a baby toothbrush and baby toothpaste. Ensure your baby enjoys this activity. Make it playful, allow your baby to hold the brush but help guide your child to clean their teeth. Clean your baby’s teeth twice daily to keep them healthy.
