Weight lifting is a short burst high intensity exercise . While lifting weight people tend to hold the breathe ,which should not happen. While lifting weights, we need to breathe out and breathe in while lowering down the weights .Whenever we do any exercise against gravity ,we need to breathe out and when working towards gravity ,we need to breathe in. Breathe in through nose and breathe out through mouth. Holding breathe while exercising is not good for the muscles because when we exercise our body and muscles gets oxygen by proper breathing.
