    Water retention is when excess fluid in your body builds up and is uncomfortably stored in your tissues. To avoid the symptoms of water retention ,few of these tips into your everyday life:1.Decrease salt intake & salty products :Salty foods are a large cause of water retention. You should only be getting 3 teaspoons of salt a day.2. Increase your Daily Calcium and Potassium Intake
    The minerals calcium and potassium are both important in helping your body process water. 3.Eat one clove of garlic a day to detoxify your body. 4.Take warm water with lemon at early morning daily to detoxify your body. 5.Exercise helps increase your circulation. 6.Avoid stress :Stress has a negative effect on the body, and helps the body hold onto toxins and unwanted excess, like water.

    In order to avoid water retention,include natural diuretics in your diet. These foods help in eliminating excess of water from the body. These are oats,barley,parsley,green tea,watermelon and tomatoes.

    Hi

    kate & swati are correct. Fennel seeds is excellent natural diuretics which helps reduce excess fluid in your body. You can take in any form with sabji or raw form after every meals or after heavy meals. It gives good digestion also. Avoid too salty foods, spicy foods especially in the dinner.

    In addition, you can have soaked cumin seeds water early in the morning. You can also add black pepper powder in while cooking veges.
