One cannot avoid old age, but yes one can age gracefully. Healthy aging is the key to remain fit. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and keep a positive attitude towards life. Here are some of the ways you can artistically embrace your old age. 1: Have a balanced diet: Good list of food items consists of more of fiber, i.e. fruits and can have salads, vegetables, raw nuts and whole grains. 2: Exercise regularly: Exercise is the best way to keep your body and mind both well and sound. Doing Yoga and Meditation will definitely help on your skin glow and make you look much younger than you age.One study reports that walking 30 minutes a day adds 1.3 years to a person's life. 3: Remain Hydrated: Drink as much as water as possible, approximately 8 glasses of water. Water can be taken in other forms such as fruit juices, soups, coconut water, etc. Try and have as much rest as you can and take good sound sleep of 7-8 hours daily. 4: Try to keep a track of your blood pressure levels: High blood pressure is known as the silent killer and can lead to heart attack and stroke. It is relatively easy to detect and control. Medication, exercise and proper diet are common treatments.
