To avoid cancer (any) disease ,It is very essential to improve dietary habits for a healthy lifestyle. Fruits and vegetables in either raw or lightly cooked form should be taken at least 5 times in a day in small portions. Salad has to be eaten 4 times a week. Green leafy vegetables, legumes, fibrous foods,Unrefined products, oily foods, bakery foods & High calories foods .Exercise(30-45mins) is also more important because obesity leads to diabetes and hypertension and cancer too. Lifestyle changes like quit smoking , alcohol , pan eating habits. There are few basics things to change like avoid more intake of coffee/ tea , drink more of water(3liters per day). A healthy lifestyle would assure as long tension free & reduce most of disease.

There are so many reasons for cancer. Some of them are abnormal fat intake, lack of exercise, obesity etc. Certain ingredients in our food are also responsible for causing cancer. The foods that we consume may have substances that resist cancer and that cause cancer. The contents that resist cancer are called antioxidants and that causes cancer are called carcinogens. Here are some tips which can help you to avoid cncer.
    * Include more vegetables and fruits in to your daily diet and this will help you to reduce the risk of getting intestine, mouth, kidney, urinary bladder and ovarian cancer. The antioxidants present in vegetables and fruits will inhibit the cancerous cells growth and thus protects you from cancer. Tomato contains saisopin which in turn will protect you from prostate cancer. The fibers present in leaves, fruits and vegetables will protect you from colon cancer.
    * While using vegetables for cooking necessary care should be taken to wash them properly. This is because the vegetables may be sprayed with pesticide and insecticides. The chemicals present in most of these pesticides and insecticides are found to be carcinogenic. So while using vegetables make sure that you wash them properly.
    * Keep your body weight normal and prevent obesity with regular exercise. This is because obesity increases the production of hormones like androgens and estrogens which on the other hand provides favorable conditions for the growth of tumor cells. Obesity increases the chances for getting kidney, breast, colon and prostate cancer.
    * Avoid foods that contain more fat in them like meat, milk and milk products. Fatty foods increase the body weight and there by increases the risk of getting lung, colon, intestine, breast, rectum and prostate cancer. Instead of meat and milk you can use fish and soymilk which are rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Meat requires high temperature cooking and at high temperature fat produces polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and proteins produces hetro-cyclic amino acids which are found to be carcinogenic.
    * Drink Alcohol in moderation.because if you are constantly consuming alcohol, you are more prone to cancer.
    * Also avoid foods that contain added preservative as some of the preservatives are found to be carcinogenic.
    * Include soybean in your diet and also introduce this in your kid’s diet. Intake of soybean from a younger age reduces your risk of getting cancer. This is because soybean contains omega-3 fatty acid which will help you to reduce the risk of getting cancer.
