"Being overweight is one of the risk for high blood pressure so If you are overweight try to reduce ur weight;Eat a diet rich in potassium, calcium & lower in sodium not only salt even like packed foods , salt biscuits , packed soups , rich gravy types.Reduce the coffee & tea consumption also. Maintain regular physical activity(this will help you to keep good circulation & mood), relax urself by hearing good music , yoga,Meditation. Hypertension people must get at least eight hours of good sleep.
Few home remedies are following :
1.Grapefruit is useful in preventing high blood pressure.
2.Indian gooseberry is another effective remedy for high blood pressure. A tablespoon each of fresh indian gooseberry juice and honey mixed together should be taken every morning in this condition.
3.Lemon is also regarded as a valuable food to control high blood pressure."
