Gurgling in chest when breathing

I feel gurgling in chest when breathing. What causes it ?

    Phlegm! Phlegm in the chest and lungs can cause gurgling and this could be due to several different reasons. If you are a heavy and regular smoker then there is a good chance that this is the problem. Smoking causes some residual phlegm to gather in your chest. Have you ever wondered why smokers always keep spitting, the reason is the constant irritation and gurgling in the chest. Sometimes even the flu or cold can cause phlegm to form in the lungs and you will feel a gurgling sound in your chest when you breathe. Hope that clears your doubts.
