Giant papillary conjunctivitis (GPC) is a medical condition of the eye. This is caused mostly due to the use of contact lens. You would experience inflammation on the inner layer of the eyelids. You can identify it with itching, redness and a lot of mucus discharge. The best treatment involves discontinuing the use of contact lens either temporarily or permanently. Your physician would prescribe an eye drop to stop the itching and inflammation. Once you are treated, I would advise you to change your contact lens. There is a whole range of lens in the market these days. Keep your lens clean at all times.
