Enzymes perform a range of different functions and one of the most important functions they perform is aiding in the digestive process. I remember learning all this biology class and some of the functions thye perform are.
    • Eliminate yeast
    • Assimilate fats
    • Digest proteins
    • Reducing bacteria
    • Increasing the activity of white blood cells
    • Break up uric acid crystals
    • Break up the crystalline deposits
Enzymes are also important for raising the t-cell activity. Enzymes are an important factor in staying healthy and my doctor keeps stressing on this fact. In other words, Enzymes are the yardstick of health.

Different enzymes perform different functions and consequently can help the body in different ways. For example, Amylaise breaks down carbs, starches and sugar. Bromelain breaks down proteins. Lipase breaks down fat. Lactase breaks down milk products. Papain aids digestion while Pepsin also breaks down proteins
