    No, there’s no connection between laxative use and gallstones. It could have an impact if you are on some other drugs. So if you do have some doubts, contact your doc. But what’s common knowledge is that using laxatives on a continuous basis is definitely bad for you. In fact, laxatives used for weight loss purposes can cause serious damage to your health. It absorbs all the moisture from your body leaving you feeling dehydrated. It messes up your digestive system and can have a negative impact on the health of your heart. Do use laxatives carefully – and only when they are actually required.
