Try not to fall off! Dirt bike races are quite dangerous and severe accidents can happen. I once had a patient who fell of the bike during a race and his leg got caught under one of the tyres of another oncoming bike. He was very unlucky and he broke his leg in three places. We had to stitch him up and put his leg in a cast for three months. Accidents like these don't happen every day but there is a good chance that they might, so it is wise to be prepared for it. Make sure you use a good helmet and elbow and knee pads.
