Contact lens eyes

You might face some amount of irritation when you wear contacts. Colored contacts do not necessarily hurt your eyes more than normal ones. My daughter wears blue color contacts and she has not had any problem so far. But she keeps it clean and safe. You must make sure that you don't wear contacts for more than 12 hours at a stretch. Otherwise you might face some eye infection or the other. Also clean your contacts with saline whenever before you use it. Contacts are difficult to get used to but once this happens you wont have any difficulty with it.

Colored contact lenses are safe to wear if you follow these precautions:
*Your colored contacts should be approved by health regulatory body of your country. Never buy color contacts of inferior quality without a doctor's prescription. Color contacts aren't fashion jewelry: most paints are very toxic, so the lenses should be properly manufactured, to avoid direct contact between the paint and the sensitive surface of your eye.
*You should have a valid and verifiable prescription from your eye care professional even if you want plain lenses without any vision correction.
*Under any circumstances never share your contact lenses with others.
*Always follow the advice of your eye care professional on wearing, caring for, and disposing of your contact lenses.
*Handle your colored contacts properly and safely, including washing and drying hands before touching your lenses
*Replace lens cases every three months to avoid bacteria contamination.
*Never wet lenses with tap water or saliva, and never reuse disinfecting solution.
