Carbonated water basically means fizz water or soda water. In this water the carbon dioxide gas under pressure has been dissolved and a process that causes the water to become effervescent.
Carbonated water in other words can be said as soft drinks which we consume on daily basis. This carbonated water has direct link with deprivation as it shows symptoms of constipation and indigestion. Many a times this carbonated water contains percentage of caffeine in it which reduces your sleep. Due to all these problems the carbonated water and sleep deprivation gets connected to each other. A person thus may not be getting proper sleep.

Carbonated drinks can be the cause of sleep problems such as insomnia or fragmented sleep. These drinks are rich in acid which can lead to nighttime heartburn, possibly indicative of a severe degree of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), according to researchers. When heartburn occurs at night, it is considered to be suggestive of a more serious or advanced form of reflux disease. Heartburn during sleep can also cause nighttime awakening, sleep loss, and daytime sleepiness.
