Yes. Cycling is one of the most underrated sports of all time. When it comes to weight loss, there are not many other sports that can match cycling. There are several forms of cycling such as track, on road and mountain cycling and all of them are ideal for losing weight. With the help of cycling you will burn a lot of calories on a daily basis. Have you ever wondered how Lance Amstrong looks so fit? The reason is endless hours on the cycle. Of course you don't have to do that, but you can start of with about an hour of cycling every day.

One of the beauties of one of these types of bikes is that you can use it to workout both your lower and upper body. To workout your lower body, place the unit on the floor in front of you, and strap your feet onto the pedals with either Velcro or plastic straps, depending on the type you have. Start pedaling, and if it seems too hard or too easy to pedal, adjust the resistance knob accordingly.
