    yes minerals like calcium, iron , zinc are very essential for the regulation of normal function of various systems in our body.

    All the minerals whether micro or macro minerals are important in regulating various metabolic functions in the body. These are calcium,iron,sodium,potassium,manganese,magnesium,copper,zinc,selenium. All have their own unique role to play.
