Anti-malarial tablets, vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Polio, Yellow fever are recommended. Drink safe water. Carry anti-diarrheal medication, as Traveller's diarrhea is the most common ailment among visitors.
If you plan on spending a lot of time outdoors or working with animals, an anti-rabies shot is essential.
Two doses of Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) is recommended for people born after 1958, if they have not already taken it. For Tetanus-diphtheria, revaccination is required every 10 years.
