Of course, you should teach your kids about the power of the human brain. If your children are very young, then you need not really tell them about the various parts of the brain and their functions. Just answering their questions about sight, smell and other senses will give them an idea about the powerful functioning of the brain. As they grow older, your children will sense that not all human beings are alike. This is a good time to talk about the brain and the nervous system. It will help them understand why no two individuals are exactly alike.
