    A three day workout is an intensive and fast paced plan that is designed to burn as many calories as possible. This does not mean that you have to sleep in the gym.  It means you have to work out for at least three hours a day and workout has to intensive. The jury is still out on whether or not such a plan works. But it is worth a shot. You have to do a lot of cardio exercises such as rowing, swimming, jogging and aerobics during these days. You can even try your hand at shadow boxing. Many people agree that shadow boxing is one of the best ways to lose weight fast.

    Hi Nancy,
    3 day workout plan is specifically designed to get the benefits of exercises especially for those who have short of time for exercise due to busy schedule. Usually in 3 day workout routine your workout is split into 3 days so that you get apple time for particular groups of muscle to exercise, usually 2-3 muscle group is focused each day. Along with this your body gets sufficient recover time after the workout, as muscle grows during the rest period. 3 day workout routine is very effective especially in case of strength training as risk of injury due to training is minimal.

    Hi Nancy,
    3 day workouts are great for someone looking to maintain their current physique and not looking to dramatically improve their bodies. Note that it is very difficult to lose 2 pounds or gain 2 pounds of muscle a week using a 3 day workout. Try a 4 or 5 day workout for better results.
