Yeah, there has been a lot of concern over the content of swine flu vaccines and many problems have been reported so far. Although normal side effects include vomiting, mild fever, nausea, chills, muscle pain, malaise and headache, there are other major side effects like mercury poisoning too. Although the vaccine does not contain mercury itself, it contains thimerosal, which is a version of mercury. This can cause some undesirable effects over a period of time. People who are allergic to sulfur and eggs should not get vaccinated, along with people who face allergic reactions to vaccinations and pregnant women.

The 2009 H1N1 vaccine is made the same way as seasonal flu vaccines. Millions of people have safely received the 2009 H1N1 vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expects that any side effects following vaccination with the 2009 H1N1 vaccine would be rare. Mild problems that may be experienced include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given, fainting (mainly adolescents), headache, muscle aches, fever, and nausea. If these problems occur, they usually begin soon after the shot and last 1-2 days. Life-threatening allergic reactions to vaccines are very rare. If they do occur, it is usually within a few minutes to a few hours after the shot is given.
