    The first and foremost step is to decide that you want to lose weight. The second step is to set the ball rolling and make sure that you are geared up to achieve your goals. After that you must consult a good dietician and get yourself a good diet plan. Then join a gym and hit the gym regularly and also get a personal fitness trainer for yourself. You can also complement your exercise routine by joining a swimming class or krav maga class. Also make sure that you are talking the bus to work instead of driving everyday. Finally, you have to make a sustained effort and not give up in between.

    In addition, Top ten steps to lose weight in terms of diet are as follows:
    *Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water daily.
    *Include fiber rich cereals like oats, wheat bran. ragi, jowar, barja and barley.
    *Divide your entire meal to small and frequent meals throughout the day.
    * Have lots of fruits and raw salads.
    *A glass of lemon water early in the morning.
    *Avoid junk and fried foods stuffs.
    * Opt for grilling, roasting, steaming method of food preparation.
    * Have Green tea inorder to boost up your metabolism.
    *Include lots of vegetables like green leafy vegetables, bottle gourd, pumpkin, capsicum, etc. in your diet. If you are a non- vegetarian have chicken, fish and egg whites. Avoid Red meat.
    * Last but not the least try to have early and light dinners.

    Doing nay activity which includes just spreading a bed sheet will also burn calories might be quite less but it will burn. You can inrease fat burning process by doing more of weight training exercises along with cardio exercises. Weight training exercises will help to build up muscle mass which means that it will help to improve you BMR and thus would burn more calories. Also, cardio exercisse has proved to be very useful for the persons who are looking for reducing body fat percentage. You need to do weight training exercises atleast for 20 min every alternate days and cardio possibly every day or atleast 5 times a week for better results for 45 min per day. This type of exercises will help to reduce your body fat percentage and loose weight.
