What is the connection between Yoga And Weight Reduction?

    I am not sure if normal yoga helps in weight reduction but I read about a new type of yoga that is practiced under heat that helps you shed weight. The aim of the exercise is to make you sweat during the workout and you will learn yoga and lose weight at the same time. This is one of the best ways to stay fit using yoga. But some people may faint due to the heat but instructors say that there is nothing to worry about. Drinking little water will be able to revive them. You can try it out if you are willing to experiment.

    Yoga improves basal metabolic rate and regularize all the systems of the body including digestion and hormonal system preventing fat storage in the body.
    But it is a stream of alternative medical science to help human being.So take an expert's advice before starting.

    Little knowledge is dangerous.Yogic exercise including breathing exercise is never done under heat so if someone is telling you that just get rid of him as soon as possible.
    Yoga under heat will do more harm than benefit to your body.

    Hey Neha,
    Yoga is a great fat burner and obviously helps to reduce your weight. You need to do atleast 45 min of yoga exercises starting from basic yoga and advancing to power yoga.
