    Hi Vasanth,
Firstly CONGRATULATIONS for achieving a weight loss of 20 kgs. Your BMI ( body mass index) seems to be normal, but presence of love handles indicates that you may still have excess body fat percentage. I will suggest you to get rid of total body fat to get rid of love handles. Engaging yourself in heavy workout or pumping iron wont serve the purpose. Focus more on Cardio i.e aerobic exercises like walking, running, cycling, skipping etc. Studies have found swimming as the best workout for love handles as it is aerobic in nature as well as it works the lower/middle back, which is essential for balance and getting rid of love handles. Apart from cardio, do some toning exercises with special emphasis on oblique crunches and its variation. Also keep a track on your diet and lifestyle to make your efforts worth.

    Hi Ravish

I have been following a good diet practice since the day i thought of reducing my weight. I have been working out 4 days a week and focus on major muscle each day. I do cardio for 20 mins a day. Should i increase the intensity of cardio, like involving high intensity interval training. As well i do abdominal workout 2 days in a week after my usual workout.

    Hi Vasanth,
Increase your cardio volume i.e. duration as well as frequency, for time being let the intensity be the same till you get accustomed to it. You can also increase frequency of abdominal workout say, 3 times a week.

Some basic and easy exercises for 6 pack abs are leg lifts, the plank, and the crunch. These exercise can be performed on the floor with an exercise mat.
For the six pack abs, a person has not only strengthened their abs by performing exercises, but also follow a diet and workout routine that help him to have a low body fat and help to visible abdominal muscles.
