Mixing Walking and jogging

While using treadmill at my home, I generally experiment a lot with mixing jogging, running and walking few laps (6-8) walking at different speeds (5KMPH - 7KMPH) and few laps(2-4) running at 10KMPH - 12 KMPH. As running same program every day looks very boring, I do everyday differently and feel different quotient of happiness.
However, I am not too sure what I am doing is correct or not. Can someone in this forum please suggest the right way / technique to do the same or at least endorse what I am doing is just fine.

Hi,Manoj the way you are doing is correct as by doing this adaptation to particular speed is prevented. But take care when you start, do with slow speed and gradually increase and then again slow down your speed as you finish your exercise session. With this you will do both warm-up and cool down. Also have a check on your heart rate, it should not fluctuates.Your heart rate should rise gradually and come down as you finish.
Remember if you have any discomfort stop doing that exercise. If you have any more queries feel free to ask.Enjoy your workout, live healthy.
