Honestly, I have no idea. Why would you want to measure the intensity anyway? Why not just exercise? But, if you really must know, the best exercise is always moderate and it is better to avoid doing anything extreme. You can tell that your over working your by simply checking your breathing and heart beat. Heavy breathing means you are pushing yourself too hard and this is the cue to tone it down a bit. If your muscles start to cramp up and your feeling the pain, it generally means, it’s time to tone it down a bit. You can also get yourself a heart rate monitor and check the rate from time to time.

    Hi,
Exercise intensity depends on an individuals physical status, Sex , weight of an individual. So its a total concern of these things upon which the exercise intensity depends. To measure exercise intensity there are various tests like 12 min walk test, VO2 max test etc which will measure the lung capacity and thus will measure the endurance of your heart and also we need to calculate the maximum heart rate by subtracting your age from 220 which will give you max heart rate .We should not exercise more than the maximum heart rate.So.exercise intensity depends upon both parameters , Maximum heart rate and VO2 max.
