    There are several ways to lower cholesterol and exercise is one of the best ways. If you do not want to opt for this then you can choose one of the following methods.
    Medications: There are several medications that promise to lower your cholesterol level. My husband has a high cholesterol level he uses medication. By in the long run this might not be a good idea and exercises are the better alternative.
    Diet control: Most doctors advise their patients to exercise control in their diet. Avoid any foods that are high on saturated fat and make sure that you opt for healthier options such as fruits and raw veggies.

    Try following some of these tips to normalize your cholesterol level:
    1. Herbs and spices such as garlic, cloves, ginger, turmeric, and rosemary not only help to flavor food, but many of them also provide cholesterol-lowering benefits.
    2. Among dairy products, stick to skimmed milk, and avoid too much of high-fat foods such as cream, cheese and butter.
    3. Avoid junk food and processed foods, as these are rich in trans fats and increase your bad cholesterol.
    4. Try to consume lentils and sprouts daily.
    5. A high fiber diet usually helps in keeping the cholesterol normal, apart from its other benefits to the intestines. Make whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole grain cereals, raw (well washed) fruits and vegetables and salads an important part of your diet.

    Hi

    I agree with bhavini. Add some more tips to reducing lower in the blood.

    * Drink green tea two times in a day. Green tea contains powerful antioxidants called catechin polyphenols that are responsible for many of the health benefits. One of them in particular, has been found to stimulate the metabolism and accelerate weight loss & polyphenols which activate the enzyme that is responsible for dissolving excess triglyceride.

    * Take healthy fat which contains omega 3 & omega 6 such as flax seeds, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, fish, etc.

    * Drink Amla juice daily in the morning to lowering the cholesterol in the blood.

    *Take methi powder or methi water in the morning or add in to ur diet to Maintain ur fat in the body.

    * Include more of fibers rich foods like fruits, whole grains, green leafy vegetables, vegetables.

    * Drink more of warm water with lemon.

    * More important exercise, do any kind of cardio exercise, at-least for 45-60 mins in a day.
