Hey Eva,
Our height mainly depends on various factors like hereditary i.e. genetic makeup, environmental factors like childhood nutrition, sleep patterns, physical activity etc. Vertical growth becomes static by the completion of puberty. Thus, increase in height is not significant after puberty. After puberty increases in height can be induced by spinal decompression which leads to elongation of the spinal column. Spine stretching exercises causes relaxation of spine and restores the natural fluidity within intervertebral discs. Spinal stretching, postural correction, low to moderate intensity exercises, swimming, yoga etc. can help in increasing height of an individual.
