    Climbing stairs is a good exercise, it works on the leg muscles and the butt. When you start climbing stairs for exercise, do it at a slow pace. Climb two flights of stairs and then walk around the corridor or landing space and then climb the next two. Follow this for the first week, adding more flight of stairs as you get accustomed to it. You can burn up to approximately 300 calories in thirty minutes. Take care not to injure your knee by going up too fast. Maintain the right posture. You can do this exercise for 30 minutes a day.

    hi Mansi,
    The duration of stair climbing will depend on how much calories you need to burn. As Pooja have said we burn 300 calories / 30 min so if you want to burn more amount of calories in a day then you can even continue with it for longer.
