Weight training basically is a high-intensity programme where you typically put in more effort at a faster pace to burn a greater amount of energy. Low intensity exercises don't require you to put in as much effort, but it does maintain a consistent pace. A few examples for low intensity exercises are walking, cycling, and aerobics and slow jogging. You could ask your gym instructor to prepare a low intensity training program that would suit your kind of body depending on your lifestyle and dietary habits. It is better to do low intensity exercises if you are a beginner as these will be helpful.

    Hi Priyanka,
Weight training exercises includes medium to high intensity exercises. Medium intensity exercises are like done with least weight sufficient enough to load your muscles. You can all sort of weight training exercises like push ups, lateral raises, front raises, rowing, etc. but with less weight say 2.5-3 kgs 15 counts for 3 sets depending on your fitness level while same exercises when are done with heavy weights are will come under high intensity exercises with less counts and less sets. Medium intensity exercises are for the peoples who want to just tone their muscles and reduce fat from that part while high intensity exercises are for building muscles.
