What is your body chemistry? Your exercise regime is completely dependent on how much you can take. If you have led a physically active life style so far and you have good stamina then you can opt for an intense and regular workout. But if you are new to the exercise process then you have to take it slow, or you will end up pulling a muscle somewhere. It is also better to be safe and start of slowly till you get used to the pace of the workout regime. Ideally a newbie should start off with a one hour workout every alternate and take it from there.

    Hi Olivia,
Your exercises rate can be decided by knowing your exercise intensity. Exercise intensity can be known by measuring VO2max of lungs, cardiac capacity, your strength , flexibility and endurance. So based on these all factors we can know the suitable exercise rate for you.
